Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate information and verify your email address before signing in.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

2. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent access controls.
• Share course content, assessment questions, or certificate templates outside the Service.
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content (including unauthorized images for avatars).
• Apply techniques learned through the courses against systems you do not have written authorization to test.
• Resell access, sublicense your account, or impersonate another person.

3. Course enrollment and payments

• Free courses can be enrolled in directly from your dashboard.
• Paid courses are processed through Flutterwave. Prices are shown on each course and exclude any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction.
• Once a payment succeeds, enrollment is granted immediately and access does not expire unless we terminate the course or your account.
• Refunds: request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not completed more than 20% of the course. Email us at buzztholdings@gmail.com to start the process. After 7 days or once you exceed the progress threshold, payments are non-refundable.

4. Certificates

• Certificates are issued automatically when you complete a course's required assessments at or above the passing threshold.
• Each certificate carries a unique verification code that any third party can validate on the public certificate-lookup page.
• Our certificates document training you completed with us. They are not an accreditation, university credential, or government-issued qualification, and we do not guarantee that any specific employer or certifying body will recognize them.
• We may revoke a certificate if it was obtained through fraud, account sharing, or violation of these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

Course materials, assessments, certificate templates, branding, and software are owned by BuzzT Cyber Academy or its licensors. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access this content for your personal learning while your account is active. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Content you submit (avatars, profile information, assessment responses) remains yours. By submitting it you grant us a license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service.

6. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or do anything that puts other learners or our infrastructure at risk. Where we terminate for cause, you are not entitled to a refund of paid courses.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific learning outcome (including passing an external certification exam) will result from completing our courses.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuzzT Cyber Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. For material changes we will notify you by email. Continued use after the change becomes effective means you accept the new Terms.
